Which ones are easy to raise ? It is an open ended question. So do not ask more just answer the question based on your own experience or understanding.
To me the boys are wanting machines girls are not. Boys are more active and hands full than girls. Boys are mischief makers girls are not.

Girls are easier to raise, but then harder to control when they get older......

I don't know about that....... boys are more energetic growing up but I think they don't tend to grow up into adulthood later on.

njgal, my daughter has luckily stayed away from the Disney Channel so far. She only watches PBS Sprout/Noggin. We don't watch much TV at home. We don't have dish so no Bollywood influence as of yet either. And we are all OK about it so that's fine.
Regarding whether it is easier to raise girls or boys, I guess I don't really know what it takes to raise a boy because I have 2 girls. I do know that hard work is required in both cases because you want to offer the best you can to your child and help them grow up as well rounded individuals.

Niksik - I don't let her watch Hannah Montana but she had picked up the name from her friends and she recognizes her face on T.V
If it were up to me - I would allow her to watch Dora until she was 10 :)
