Boycott these products because they support Israel...

Many of us are weak in the heart…Our desires overide our faith let alone our judgment…

Many of us including me have been and are users, customers and patrons of these companies…I myself have always been a big drinker of Coca-Cola, however I failed to realize how much, by just buying a bottle of Coke I contributed to the murder of Palestinians…

If Coke made a penny of profit from my buying their crate, that penny went towards a bullet which probably killed a Palestinian child, I consider myself no less guilty of having contributed towards the killing of Palestinians…

We cannot serve the Palestinian brothers and sisters by our hands, our money, our tongues and in some very sad cases, even with our hearts…We don’t care what happens to them…The least we can do is if not boycotting these products, at least find an alternative to that product…I did. I now drink Pepsi over Coke…

Just imagine if Israel attacks Pakistan today, it will be because it had the power to buy weapons through the support given to it by these companies…

I would like for you to take a look at every label in this picture, which shouldn’t take long…20 seconds tops and stop using that product…We can’t completely get rid of them as they are many of them a part of our lives…Find alternates…

Show your support for the Palestinians by boycotting these products…It is the least of the least that we can do for our brothers and sisters…

Remember…A Coke bottle is a harmless thing to buy…Multiply it by millions of Muslims and you have a deluge…That deluge generates more and more revenue for Israel…]

So the next time you decide to shampoo your hair with Revlon, or eat a KitKat or decide to gulp a Coke down, imagine a child in Palestine getting killed with a portion of what you paid for your product…

It’s not about how many will join you, it’s what difference you can make…Let others know about it too…

List of companies that have invested heavily in Israel…

Laj,

i sincerely hope you didnt post that from an IBM PC with an Intel CPU. the link on your post names Intel and IBM as one of the biggest investors in Israel.

IBM compatible self assembled...And AMD all the way babes...No Intel garbage...

While ordinary Muslims boycott the products, I am sure Muslim Leaders, especially Palestanian leaders in this case, have their dinners and lunches everyday with coke and they use other products as well in their daily life. They don't care about public, they just care about themselves. If they did care about people, they would have come up with a solution and it would be peace in middle east by today.

^^ You can repeat the same for the 'leaders' at home.

^^ What I said applies to bleaders of all nations** but I said Muslim Leaders because we were talking about that situation here.

True -but Al Quds belongs to 'us' as much as the Palestinians - 'Our leaders' are just as much reponsible as those of Palestinians.

I'm not disagreeing with you - but want to put all of 'all our rotten leaders' in the same basket.

Even Non-Muslim people are with the Palestinians...Muslims, if they have nothing to stand for by simply boycotting these products, not even for their brothers and sisters in Palestine, have nothing in their lives...

Other companies, disgusted by Israel's treatment of the Palestinians have themselves actively joined the boycott.

In May 2002 a US auto part export company refused to do business with Israel.

In a reply to a purchase order from Israel, John Harris, representing Texas Automotive Export wrote:

"We must inform you that Texas Export will not do business with Israeli citizens at this time. We urge you to rein in your military and stop your oppression of the Palestinian people," the letter said. "Your country has lost the respect of the civilised world," it concluded.

The success of the boycott has so worried the US government and Israel, both afraid that companies will abandon Israel, that just last week the US threatened to fine US companies that take part in the boycott. The Department of Commerce has already issued more than $26m in fines and turned down export licences to those companies found supporting the boycott - so much for democracy and a right to choose who to do business with!

Lajawab, why dont you just leave the US? Isnt the US a a big supporter of Israel too? Oh no, but if you go back to Pakistan, you will find out that all these companies are operating there too ;) Why dont you go back, and destroy them? That would certainly help Palestine?

You are mixing 2 things together Spock...One is a company which supports Israel and the other is a country which supports Israel...

As far the company is concerned I can boycott them and try to enforce my own personal sanctions against them to deprive them of my money and starve them of my funds, no matter how small...At least I have conviction for which I am willing to make a stand...Who cares if I am alone, at least I have a firm commitment...

As for the country is concerned, there is little I can do about except oppose its policies...You don't leave every country which has a policy you don't agree with...For that you'll have to move to Mars...

have a look at this site Lajjo

http://www.tradepartners.gov.uk/clothing/saudi_arabia/profile/overview.shtml

You’ll see a long list of companies including M&S who are trading successfully in Saudi Arabia. How are these companies surviving? Because the Arabs aren’t boycotting their products. So why don’t you just do the same as your brothers and sisters and have a nice swig of coke to wash down that halal big mac?

Who cares what Saudi Arabia does and doesn’t do…? I know what I must do and that’s the only thing that matters…

You do what you want Lajjo. I'm just pointing out that your brothers and sisters are too busy driving round in mercs to be concerned as much as you are about the Palestinians and they are sitting on their doorstep.

can you please define "support israel?" does that mean they do business with them? I work for one of those companies and can tell you that they don't materially or spiritually support Israel. They do business with it but that's because the country in which it is based (USA) recognizes Israel.

Agree with Spock 100%. Muslims have bigger issues/problems than to start bickering about which product to boycott. Work within your communities with people about real issues, implement Islam in our lives, then maybe we will start seeing a change.

even if no one supports this bycott i'll still noy buy these products for the simple reason ....i dont want to support israel.....if others dont that is their problem...........

have any one heared of a bird trying to cool the flames in which namrood threw hadrat ibraheem..?

just do what u can do...dont look at others....

Allah :swt: will not change the fate of a nation unless they change what is in themsleves…

If you cannot implement this change in yourself to stop using these products because they harm other fellow Muslims, how can you expect to help Muslims otherwise? I mean to boycott these products may be a small step, yet a first step for many towards a sense of solidarity with fellow Muslims…It is the least of least which can be done, unless you think you just have to drink Coke, wear L’eggs stockings and eat Sara Lee bread…

First at least learn to sympathize with those you wish to help, otherwise your words of comfort will sound hollow…

Mr. lajawab, I dont want to start an argument, Alhamdolillh I can sense that you are a good individual. What I meant was that, go out there in your communities, help build masajids, Islamic schools, also help the needy(muslims/non-muslims) establish salah, pay zakah. Also there are many cases where if you are learned person in Islam, get into interfaith dialogues, invite muslims to conme to the masjid and invite non-muslims to the truth of Islam. Like this there are many things one can do that inshaAllah will increase our imaan.

Why do not you provide their substitutes and then tell people use these products and do not use the ones who contribute in the killings of Palestinians. Just simply by saying do not use them ... it wouln't help as you can see most of them are very commonly use products. Give the substitute and ask my cooperation. If I follow you than what should I use?
