Actually his name is pronounced as "Daneesh Kaneria" ... u might have heard the hindu name "Dhaneesh" ? haven't u ?

But as being Pakistani we call him Danish (alternative word for Aqalmand).

it is that part of urdu that is beyond those who are still figuring out the difference between "zamana" and "ja-mana"....:)

BTW danish means wisdom though najam has rightly pointed out that his hindu name is "Dhaneesh"......
