To the (few) who are always “dissing” the US of A…
My oldest 2 boys are in pre-school, and they attend different schools, on opposite sides of town. Yesterday, they each came home with a flyer that was sent home to all the parents of the entire school district asking for tents, tarps, duct tape and blankets. The local boy scout troop convinced PIA to take a planeload of these donated items to Pakistan for the Quake victims.
We are in New York, very close to manhattan. Proud are we of our local boy scouts and now I SO look forward to my boys becoming part of that organization!
…and PS, we go to see the boys their “holiday sings” in 2 weeks, they’ll be singing popular carols along with a “Merry Christmas” song that they’ve been practicing that wishes everyone “Merry Christmas, Eid Mubarak, Happy Qwanzaa” etc etc etc.
No one on GS disses US Mo3...Americans have just come to a fragile point where even pointing out an error of America becomes grounds for anti-American sentiments...
Unhealthy nationalism coupled with CNN and FOX does that to you...
Dope, why dont you really take a look at what people are TRYING to do, how they care and try to help and to understand???
If having a community donate tents to quake victims is "hating" then how do you define love and caring???? I am proud that the "gori" schools that my boys attend are caring enough to do all of this for the people over there. WHERE and how do you find hate in that? Or in singing a happy ramadan song?
Give up Mamaof3. You will never convince rabid non-muslim haters in GS that your kids are doing something wonderful. Theek hain bhai. Ask those freezing Pakistani quake victims if they mind receiving tents and blankets from Christmas carol singing kids. Its is only warm well fed bewakoof guppies who can object to that. Bute then Mama, it is not their gand that is in the baraf.
does dope have a problem with christmas carols because he thinks:
a)carols are haraam b/c music is haraam? we must not celebrate the birth of a prophet by singing....u know like the songs in pakistan for prophet muhammad (aye sarkar-e-madina? with the duff in the background??!)
No Christamas is just a commercial holiday. It has nothing to do with christianity...that big fat guy in the red suit is all about green for the retailers and nothing else.
