I’ve found many threads about girl names which is fine but are there any threads on Paklinks that have pages of boy names? A site will be fine too.
The reason I’m asking this is because I’m finding it quite exotic probably because I’ve never heard of Urdu names or Arabic names.
So far i have this… I don’t know if the Urdu or meaning is correct so if its wrong please tell me!
Nice choice in names. Those 3 names are very popular right now. I think the meanings are correct.
There are previous threads on this topic but not many new names.

Aariz is one name that boggles me about its meaning.
If it's written in the way as shown above in Urdu .it means requesting, cheek etc..but not gift. I have heard Aareez written with alif ..that means leader of the nation !
It's so confusing. I love this name ...but now because of the ambiguity of the proper Urdu spellings as well as the way it is pronounced, it' has gone down my list ! :(

i don't think there is any AREEZ word starting with letter ALIF...there is one with letter AIN **عریض***] meaning WIDE, chauRaa*
yes, ‘a’ is actually ‘ah’ [chhoTii he = ہ…we drop ‘h’ in wrting out the name in English] to transform a male name to a female name…like…from Shaaid شاہد] to Shaahida شاہدہ], Saajid to Saajida, Maajid to Maajida stc :)**
Bilal means** 'the chosen one' ***and because Hazrat Bilal [r.a.] was chosen to call azaan because of his beautiful voice he was named Bilal after he accepted Islam.*
okay thanks
well I'm trying to find good names that are exotic enough that people will praise the name as well as being easy to pronounce. I'm not planning on having a child anytime soon but its been on my mind lately and I just wanted to know what kind of names are out there.

Same with me.. I love thinking up exotic baby names lol.. My other half wants to name our future son after him (big head) but it's one of the most common western names out there and where's the fun in that :D
