***Here are the three names that are on top of my list !
Reyyan
Ruhaan
Aryaan
I absolutely love those names , named my nephew Reyyan and my very good friend here on GS asked me to name her baby and I suggested Aryaan to her and she kept it.......
I really liked Aayan too but one of my arab friends said it means sick in arabic so I wudn't suggest that though I read a different meaning and really loved it.
Anyone know for sure the meaning of Aryaan. We liked it but can't get confirmation on the Arabic.
Aryan means "noble" or "son of a noble" if you take Aryaan with a double a and split it up, Arya means noble/honoured/someone of high birth depending on your interpretation and "Aan" or "ahn" means to prosper and flourish.***
^ My khala was Qurat ul Ain. Everyone called her Annie :). Hat does Irsah mean?
Sheyn, you're sure? I trust you! Is Aaryana the female version? We like that as well.
Sahar that what I found on googling the name. Now the thing is sometimes a name can have one meaning in one language and another in a different language.
Like Aayan that was my first pick for my nephew cause I read it means " God's Gift" and we kept that but when i mentioned it to my friend she said it means sick in arabic so we changed it to Reyyan.
You should inquire about the arabic meaning if that is similar than Aryaan is a lovely name and so is Ariyaana again another which is on my list for if i have a girl ***
