boutiques in karachi

Re: boutiques in karachi

man this thread is old. i already went to pk and visited the boutiques myself lol. I liked chenone, cynosure and for unstiched outfits khaadi and bareeze. Chen one has cute stuff but they had no variety. They had like 8 or 9 in the whole shop..

zamzama really isnt THAT expensive....a few designers "saman-something" and others were having really nice sales and they had embellished outfits for around $100. I never got time to visit "the designers" because they moved to a new location that I could not find for the life of me.

fnkasia is cool. they make really hip and cute shalwar kamiz...its owned by the wife of a designer (amir adnan?) so they charge u for the brand name and the fact that u can basically mix and match different shalwars and dupattas to the kamiz. a concept that had not existed in desi wear. A full casual suit can easily run u $100. their cloth is not exactly 'high quality'....they get it cheap. i'd say bareeze is a better choice when investing in good casual wear. but i did get one fnkasia suit made by a girl who works there for me as my wedding gift from her and i really love it....I dont know if she used their house tailor or if she did it independently but the tailoring was lovely and I love how she combined different fabrics.

cyma: do u know where threadz and frillz are located in karachi?
