Bottled water, filters, what?

OK so recent studies suggest that plain ol’ tap water in most cities is contaminated and/or contains high levels of chlorine which in the future can pose a health risk. Also, in old building there’s the danger of lead in the pipes, which again is quite harmful if taken in large amounts…and since water is very very important and dear to us all, we must make an attempt to provide clean water to our families.

Some people like to buy water, bottles and big gallons etc…Some use filters.

Bottled water :chilly:
I am too lazy to boil water and drink :bummer:

Re: Bottled water, filters, what?

get your water tested first so u know what you are dealing with.
based on that you will know whether a filteration or reverse osmosis type thing is what you need.
or u can go with bottled water.

i have not practiced what I preach here, we usually get water bottles, I hve one of those big 5 gallon water dispenser thingie also but conan the destroyer plays with it so we have not used it for some time.

longer term and more convenient solution is to have a home filtration/reverse osmosis system, I just have to buy the damn thing and install it

Re: Bottled water, filters, what?

in the rental places we used to use a jug with a filter in it. And every few months we would change the filter. That worked.

In the new place, because the pipes are all new, we drink straight from the tap

Re: Bottled water, filters, what?

we have filter in our house. In Pakistan it's crazy to drink and use water straight from tap. after filtering water we also boil it.

Hepatitis A , E & Typhoid are a few diseases that you get from drinking dirty water and they are very painful believe me.

It's better to be safe than to be sorry !

Re: Bottled water, filters, what?

Back home as well as here its bottled water.

We use a filter at home and when traveling always drink bottled water only

Some of my friends who live nearby my house drink their water straight from the tap and when Im at their house I drink their tap water as well, but at home I only drink from the filter for some reason, even though our tap water is the same as theirs :hmmm: My husband drinks from the regular tap at home sometimes, he says he thinks it totally fine

Re: Bottled water, filters, what?

The recent water quality check shows that bottled water filtration process is extremely dangerous as these bottled water companies use excessive quantity of chlorine which poses the serious security threat to your health and the best thing you should do is to filter water at home and always replaces your home water filtration plant every year which will keep your body safe from many diseases.
