Re: Botox - Yea or Nay?
No, there are mixed views, many scholars believe reversible cosmetic surgery is ok, others say it’s ok if it’s causing the person emotional/psychological stress or if the person looks ‘abnormal’ (obviously subjective) or has a deformity.. The references are on here if anyone wants to do a search.. Again it’s been mentioned on here before that Iran is the nose job capital of the world..
99% of my friends have botox (all in early to late twenties) but it’s one of the few things I’d never consider.. Just don’t think they look better after having had it done regularly and on a long-term basis. it might stop the wrinkles but too much botox can make you look a bit odd and hard-faced.. Even Aishwarya and Katrina Kaif look worse after it imo.. A lot of desi women have skin that doesn’t age as fast as white women anyway, I think many have faces that look younger.. Black women also tend to age a lot better (Stacey Dash is in her forties but looks twenties).. ‘Enhancements’ can and do make a person look better when done by someone skilled (and with a good eye) or in moderation but that’s where most ppl go wrong.. (Btw isn’t this Fashion + Beauty?)
