I’m not sure if Botal Gali is meant for the big screen or if its a telefilm, or whether its been shown already.

“BOTAL GALI” is something which carries behind months of hard work by scores of artiste’ and unit members. Yes, it’s the DAIRA man SHAHZAD NAWAZ who has directed this video movie produced by Humayun Saeed. It has some highly daring dialogues as well as scenes..normally not in the current rudimentary roductions.
Myself, Sheryar Zaidi and Khalid Ahmed have a segment which be speaks of lot of interesting factors of our current and past society. I enjoyd working with Shahzad it was great fun shooting some scenes at Defence and Garden areas.
BG is poised for release soon…you’ll enjoy it.

PCG it was launched a while ago. Shahzad is another one of our rare zealous guys with a passion. He's cool. He was planning a DVD release after the cinema release bu neither has happened so far though a limited launch was held at the end of 2006 i remember.

In India..it will be on theatres...like Nausheen Ali Sardar and Hiten (Karan of SAAS BHI KABHI BAHU THEEH) told me a month back when we did some shoot at Dubai.
In Pakistan..it will be GEO to air it.......

PCG, Mr Raju Jamil is a veteran actor, his acting career spans near 3 decades or so (is that right Mr Raju?). He has been a part of a number of greatest hit dramas and is the son of Mr Jamiludin Aali, one of our greatest poets, who has written classics, to name one; "Jeeve Jeeve Pakistan". I'm sure you'll recognize at a glimpse.

I see. I think Shahzad was earlier hoping to get it released into cinemas in Pakistan too. But he was skeptical due to the censor and political strings I guess?

Thank you Haris. Dad is better now after the five fractures he suffered when he tripped at some book launch he was chairing. He is as robust and active in his writings..and continues his articles in JANG. He just made a special 14th Aug recording for WEEKEND WITH ZEBA SHEHNAZ show on IndusVision.
Gudia Bibi...I am a banker by profession. Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Executive of UBL Karachi Region..the largest in Pakistan with 95 branches. Acting is my hobby or say..extra curricular activity since 27th December, 1967 when I did my first TV drama from Karachi TV centre. Have done over 385 TV plays, series and serials and around 42 stage plays of which 38 were in English and I have received around 24 TV & Stage awards for acting and compering. I got the best character award in english play by Harold Pinter titled "BIRTHDAY PARTY" in 1972. Incidently I am not allowed to post attachments here otherwise I would have posted my pics with Marina Khan, Nadia, Zeba, Faisal Qazi for their shows and more pics of our recordings at Malaysia, Dubai, Bangkok, Istanbul and Scotland we did with my closest buddy Humayun Saeed.

Aik tow I am not familiar with this thread business…doosra ye ke I thought I could contribute, up-date and confirm a lot of things relaing to SHOWBIZ PAKISTAN on this foru. I can’t say whether there are other of my colleagues (The TV Artiste’) who are on this forum with different identity/names..but i have no problems coming up openly as a genuine RAJU JAMIL…of showbiz on this forum.
The moderators could be the best judge to decide about this thread business…Gudia Bibi..!
