Boston Pictures

These pictures are a month old. Boston is far more greener now.

This first few are right outside of the route to MIT & Harvard. I think its HWY-3 or something like that. A nice place, they have a jogging/walking track right next to the river and as the weather was nice that day, a lot of people were out. I bet today, now that the weather is even better, there would be a lot more people hanging around.

Re: Boston Pictures

MIT is more like a box shaped a set of new buildings, nothing really exciting at all. Harvard was the old triditional place. I would have taken some pictures but couldn't get any parking.

Later I went to downtown and wanted to take a lot of pictures but it was already getting too late/dark.

Anyway, here are a few:

Re: Boston Pictures

Boston = Boring-ton

Re: Boston Pictures

So there was this group of three standing around a tree totally motionless and I don't know for how long they had been there. I am sure they were praying or something but anyway ...

Re: Boston Pictures

In this last one I was trying to keep four different things in place. I know its a very bad quality picture but can anyone what four things I was tying to keep in the canvas?

Re: Boston Pictures

Oh I found another one...

Anyway, today I am trying to figure out where to go. I have an evening to kill. Should I go back to downtown or should I take a trip to Cape Cod and take it off my list.

Re: Boston Pictures

I was in Boston (Winford, MA) last year this time around. It is not so exciting place to be. Harvard and Cambridge have some life because of campuses, otherwise Boston is boring. Downtown is a cool place, reminded me of Toronto's downtown.

The sea shore pics you have posted are beautiful. I had some too of that white bridge of ropes.

Re: Boston Pictures

 nice pics!!

Re: Boston Pictures

What? No one figured out the 4 different things in post # 5?

Re: Boston Pictures

blue sky, the big bldg, the tower, and of course that metal statue.. ok fine I dunno the names of any of these but really blurry pics.. try taking some photography courses :stuck_out_tongue:

was it Newbury street?

MA ain’t that bad!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Boston Pictures

the pics of the river are nice. It looks like any typical college town :-)

Re: Boston Pictures

Having lived there for 5 years, I think its one of the best downtowns I have seen. My office was in cambridge, close to Charles river and Museum of Science. During winter, the real life is underground, i.e, Red line, Orange line etc stations.
