I wouldn’t say i was born in the wrong times because Allah(swt) doings always have wisdom in it though We humans might not understand it at times.
But if i was to chose i would chose our Beloved Prophet Mohammad:saw2: time for sure.

Re: born in the wrong times?
as allama iqbal says:
khosha woh waqt keh yathrib maqam tha us ka
khosha woh dor ke deedar aam tha us ka
sigh how many of us wud want to witness that era, but looking out our deeds, do we ever wonder if we wud have been on his side or those who were blinded by their hearts' desires....

^:salam:
I do wonder that & it send shivers through me.
Happy and content with the times I am born in. Numerous reasons to support it, including the fact that what would have happened if I would have needed a caesarian to have my little one few centuries ago !! scary !!!!
Re: born in the wrong times?
When I was in my O' Level (junior high) a fellow student told me that you should have been born 500 years before or 500 years after. He was no friend, not even a acquiantance just a fellow student. But all these years I used to be thinking about this. If I prefer then I should have born 500 years ago when men were warriors and women were pretty maidens.
But now I think about it, this time was the best time for me. The time full of challenges and for my nation in continuous war with itself for more then 60 years. The time of diplomacy, use of science and brain to twist or untwist the facts, the time for recorded history and remembered by many with your words and deeds not a few lucky ones 500 years ago. I believe I want to be born here in this time, gone are the era when men were warriors and women were maidens. Its a new time and we should change it for the better. :)
True again…but very scary too simply if we had been amongst the unbelievers (astaghfirula) think about all the problems the sahaba’s encountered and how difficult it was for them to practice the deen…it was a great test. Nowadays, Islam is practiced widely and openly…

Exactly, thats why I sometimes thank God that I was not born in that era and am not tested so heavily (though we are tested as well).
Re: born in the wrong times?
Well its something totally impossible and watever Allah did there is always a Hikmah behind that, but still if i was to chose i would go to the era without technology, when knights took place.
i mean the time of King ARthur, iblin, and stuff

yeah, some kids wish they were born in dinosaur era :D
not really - I'm way too fond of modern medicine, transportation, and communications, etc to feel like I really belong in an older time period . . . .
Re: born in the wrong times?
I was born on the day when the people were celebrating Halloween ![]()
Re: born in the wrong times?
i would love to go to the time of our nabi PBUH
Re: born in the wrong times?
i would like to be born in times of educational books being written, in the times of Islamic civilization's history.
Mayan civilization in Sth America.
Times of the Roman Empire in Rome.
Times of the Pharaohs in Egypt.
The Dark ages. With all that wonderful advancements in science, art, medicine, astrology and all that happening in the muslim world.
And I'd love to have been in my 20s in the mid to late 60's/early 70s. I want that handlebar mostache, those tight pants, and a 69 Mustang!
I'd really love to be in all of those lost civilizations... to see how they lived and what technologies and 'ilms' they had.
