bored.

sup?

realises she needs a topic, sigh

oh hey so, how open are you to accepting help from others? close, or not so close. maybe like borrowing a few quid…to relying on someone for financial support till you can get back on your feet. where would you draw the line?

Re: bored.

i borrow money from close pals and we normally dont bother if we pay for each others meal?

but when it comes to big sum of money.err noone

ps: betiiiiiiiiiiiii i missed youuuuu:kiss:

Re: bored.

yeah, i find it weird to even ask for like £1 from anyone…let alone anything else.

ps. hi mama  i miss you so much it hurt me physically in my dil.

Re: bored.

That's a tough one really, I have never borrowed large amounts of money from anyone but my parents. I would only lend money to very close family, I had a bad experience about 8 years ago when I allowed a friend to get a laptop on credit in my name because her credit was poor, long story short I ended up making the payments and the friendship is over.

Re: bored.

depends on how much of a bind i'm in, like forgetful me has left his wallet at homes plenty of times and gets to work .. so i borrow some money from one of two people i'm really close to here and pay it back the next day :-/ ; plus i've done the same thing for them.. so its all good ..

Re: bored.

I'm okay with borrowing from my immediate family, thats about it and I don't even like doing that........................close friends are okay for small sums or if I just happened to forget my wallet (as partyslims mentioned)

Re: bored.

Lol, I must have the worst credit history in UK. I got my friends lines on O2, Orange and T-Mobile, all of them defaulted part way. I didn't mind though since (a) they were all good friends and would have/have done the same for me, (b) I was never going to live in UK long term so maintaining a good credit history wasn't a priority.

Although there were some people I lived with who damaged my rental house, screwed me out of my deposit, missed several rent payments that I had to make up, needless to say we're not friends now.

Re: bored.

I don't like being in a situation where I have to borrow/owe money. I feel more comfortable asking immediate family........not so much with friends, even those that are close ones. Sometimes it can also depend upon the person, how well you get along with them, your perceptions about them, etc.

Re: bored.

I don't like borrowing money at all, even if it's immediate family. At most I'd let my sister pay for something but I make sure I re-pay her one way or another. With friends/colleagues it's a big no unless I really needed it for something like bus fare.
