A friend of mine wants to visit NY. She’s in in Latin America for study and work and she wants to spend a week/long-weekend in NY in january or in winther holidays…I don’t know, but problem is that she doesn’t know anybody there and she she hates to go places alone.
I was wondering if one of you would be interested in showing her around. Nothing is planned, cuz first she wants to know that there is someone trustworthy there to be with her. She will pay all the costs and do everything by herself (reserve tickets, order food, decide where to go, what to do, she’ll do it all) only thing you have to do is to be with her and to talk to her. Like maybe:
- have lunch or dinner with her, take her to a halal resturant (cuz poor girl is living like a veggi)
- show her famouse places
- go with her to the movies, shopping, theatre, etc.
She is very simple, down to earth, nervouse, abit shy. She is not a very “feshni-girl”, funny, cool or enything…but you wont get bored. If ur a person who like to talk then she’ll be excellent company, as she is a good listner. Her english isnt to brag about, you should be able to speak urdu, if you know punjabi then its “sone-pe-suhaga” wali baat, but urdu will do.
Living alone away from home isnt easy. She wants to talk with desis and eat meat…its not that you have to be with her 24/7, but…u know. I dont know what more to say…?! I hope u understand.
I know therez lot of non serious ppl out there. But for her sake I hope there are some serious ppl aswell
