The best book turned into a movie is unquestionably The Godfather. The book has weird things in it, like Sonny being well endowed repeatedly mentioned in awkward places. It also spends far too much time with the bridesmaid that Sonny knocks up, Vincent's mom, and how much she misses Sonny and his huge member (seriously). I don't know what the author was thinking but the movie wisely removes all that.
^^ oh yara choro. Satiya naas kar diya characterization ka.
The best thing about RK Narayan is that his characters are multi dimensional and never black/white.
In the book - the original husband wasn’t a drunk; the love affair between the guide and the woman was more a dil ka masla rather then please resure me from my evil drunkard of a husband.
And my ultimate blood boiling issue with the movie, the stupid lion scene.
:screaming:
The movie was good independantly; and the book was awesome.
