Do you guys ever read books on Parenting? Do you think they help?
Someone told me to read Love and Logic by Jim Fay…any reviews?

Re: Books on Parenting
more then book si find magazines helpful - especially Parenting. Its broken up into the early years and the Toddlers or somethiing like that.
Lots of helpful and creative tips.
Re: Books on Parenting
hte only book i have on parenting is only one of the books from the series what to expect, the toddler yrs. thats it… i just use common sense when raising my kid coupled with advice from the elders, and the nurse.
i started to read online info but i just realized that they are literally trying to bubble wrap your child and protect it from teh dumbest of things… i mean honestly.. its a human! everything is a oh no and a dont do this.. or is your child at risk…
whatever ![]()
i rather like the deal with it styled parenting so common here as well as in my own family.

I've heard sooo much about it. Unfortunately it isn't available in Pak. I've read 'Positive Discipline', and 'Raising Happy Brothers and Sisters'. Both are nice reads.
I love reading parenting books/ magazines/ articles etc.
