PS: I am a futurist at heart too (aka geek) if i dont read magazines liek wired every month, i would die of constipation
Magazines are another example why E culture cannot take over print media, completely.
Manufacturers and service providrs dont like TIVO cause it gives too much control in the hand of consumer. They skip the commercials and manufacturers loose money.
Too much digitalization is a threat to marketing industry.
Plus E-book might make sense but E-magazine ....
I tried reading PC-world on there website, Its not even half as fun as it is when you read the real magazine.
Plus paper can be recycled. But all those servers and hard disks and chips that save the data (be it e-books data or anything) are actually more hazardous to the world in long run than paper based books
