Bookmarks Folder

Ok, I dont know what the heck is going on with my Mozilla Firefox but first of all… I couldnt bookmark anything anymore… then suddenly a few of my bookmarks disappeared… now today suddenly everything is gone! And I still cant add anything to the bookmarks folder!

step by step

recover your bookmarks:
Making sure you're not a bot!
Reinstall firefox. There is probably some problem with some plugin or extension.

try this:

It might be damadged?
check if the profile folder is still there? It should be in

C:\Documents and Settings{your username}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Within that folder, you’ll find also a folder called “bookmarks”

I’m completely computer illiterate im gonna wait for BIL to come recover it… this looks confusing

And I did reinstall, but still not working

challo, dont use the bookmarks till then or use IE

Dont worry while Bill is coming - u can enjoy nice cold “Falooda” (if available).

Re-install wont work until u also delete “a folder”

C:\Documents and Settings*falooda\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox*

Either rename it or back up & delete it.

Then re-install your firefox & all should be fine.

re-install firefox.......however it is never happened with me.........2ndly I also added my bookmarks in my google bookmarks........so wherever I need my bookmarks I can use them....just need to install google toolbar for IE or FF...

C:\Documents and Settings**falooda\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Replace *****falooda* - with your user ID (Login ID) and then search please.
