She is 100% right in what she says but then why is her Pakistani counterpart Asma Jehangir considered wrong or a traitor for the truths she tells?

There is a huge difference between Arundhati and Asma Jahangir. Whereas Arundhati talks about poor and is a well known scholar, Asma is the worst opportunist and belongs to the same elite class, which Arundhati is criticizing.

Arundhati does not have any special ties with Pakistan to suggest that she is trying to promote our point of view, where as Asham Jahangir’s strong ties to India are very well known. Most of her “precious” time she is spent in India.
