...awm, nice pics. I like the polar bear and the tiger.
** they want to go back once it starts snowing. Come to think of it, I've never gone to the zoo in the winter **
...If you are going to go there in winter, go in December. Sometime near Christamas because thats when they usually decorate/light up most of the zoo --- so most people visit it at night.
I guess it's cool to show visitors around nyc (or the zoo). But I pass this place 'everyday' coming from Fordham and now getting some-what sick of it.
The only thing I remember from last time is the camel ride. I sat on the camel and before I was even comfortable, the guy was like, "ride is over" lol - Stupid thing just walked ten steps forward and ten steps backwards! I know, tsk! and I paid so much for it. Well not that much but still..
^ kewl, thanks for the suggestion Coco
I wanna see a smile on the polar bear’s face, he looked so depressed in warm weather!
My sister started freaking out at the camel rides when she saw it was 5 bucks for like 2 minutes. She started doing the whole conversion thing, and she was like back home it’s only Rs.10
Around xmas we’ll be doing the whole Times Sq, Broadway show and skating at Rockefeller thing. Any suggestions as to where else I can take her in the meantime? I’ve heard Fire Island is like really unusual, never been there myself, but isn’t it a gay ilaaka? Is it gonna be worth the trip?
..the polar beer seemed comfy sitting in that position. But yeah, I say they ship the poor guy to Alaska.
em..as far as abt Fire Island, lol so no, if you want to see the 'gay Ilaka' - try going to Greenwich Village.
Doesn't Fire Island mostly have summer activites like surfing, fishing, hiking and camping? Right now, it's cold. Not a weather I would like to found at a beach. But I guess if you want to go to the forest, see more animals, you can go.

..yeah, thts the best time to go to these places though its overcrowded then.
I guess for the meantime, you could take her to the em..? 34th street? Statue of Liberty? or the museums? American museum of Natural History I guess? - Cuz thats the only museum that doesn't have boring crap in it. It's cool once you get into watching the whole IMAX movie and 3D stuff.

Not particularly :D She dragged me to the Halloween parade, that was quite enough. But my boss was raving about Fire Island once, and although he can be strange, he does have some good ideas every once in a while, so I try not to discount the guy totally.
