Bone marrow transplant

I am not sure where to post this but I want maximum exposure of this thread possible.

now, I am not even sure where to begin or how to explain. I need information about the Bone Marrow Transplant. I want to know if there is any hospital or practice any where around the world that you are aware of, where they freeze some of the stem cells. I am not sure what the whole process is called but what happens is that they remove the bone marrow and then do the chemotherapy and then put the bone marrow back again. We have been to shaukat khanum who referred us to agha khan hospital in karachi but they dont have the facility to freeze the stem cells, so that those frozen cells can be used in case the cancer grows back.

If you have any knowledge or experience with this procedure available any where UK,USA, Canada, Singapore etc. please let me know. Time is very critical. We need to make decision fast. thanks

ok I have been told the procedure is called "Autologous bone marrow transplant". Any one with any information please share.

If you’re asking about Autologous transplant then yes in Toronto, Canada we do have such treatment. However, if you live in Pakistan then you can go to India for the treatment. Here is their website: http://www.meddetour.com/home.html

Thanks buddy, we didnt have much time so we have started the treatment in Agha khan karachi.
