Re: Designer Lawn Suits 2011
I went to bonanza lawn exhibition today and was expecting loads of crowd and no place for parking the car but i parked right next to it and there were hardly 10 women up there , no one seemed interested in buying anything !! the quality of fabric is not excellent and embroidery is very gawdy, not intricate or neat at all :-/ too over-priced and worst part was that most of the shirts you see in their catalogue are made using a dupatta completely or panels from he dupatta and the prints of the shirts are not extraordinary either.
so to make them, you need to buy 2 suits unless you go for plain chiffon dupattas dyed separately. Lawns suits need to be boycotted for a few seasons so that these crazy heads can bring down the prices one day
Re: Designer Lawn Suits 2011
Thank you so much for this. Its very useful to know. I was sooooo looking forward to getting their suits as they look very nice in pictures. I had my eye on 3 Bonanza suits.
What is their price range anyway? Not worth buying then
They should not mislead us when they use duppatta for the kameez and dont even mention it

Re: Designer Lawn Suits 2011
I know. I loved 2 for myself and both were the ones where dupatta was used in shirt panels. price was 2700 for one yucky looking suit, rest of them were 3650,3750 and 3850rs !
Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011
Thanks for the review prototype, this lawn did not appeal to me anyway, bonanza has good gents stuff but not female.
Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011
thanks prototype its very helpful
Re: Designer Lawn Suits 2011
you are so right…these ppl think we got loads of money and whatever they advertise, we will buy. someday i will also start my own brand of lawn but i will keep low and affordable prices in mind that it is ONLY a lawn suit and since summer stays for 9-10 months in pakistan literally.
is say to behtar hai you buy one piece lawn and then you make multiple dresses because mix and match isnt out yet
Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011
thanks proto for the review....
Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011

the gul ahmed prices are pretty high ths year, the only one that sounded vaguely reasonable was Yasir waheed which is all under RS2000 ruppees.
Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011
LSM is supposed to be reasonable, maxing at 3Kish

Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011
I have to be honest guys, this isnt one of my favourites but my mum purchased it for me so i shouldnt really complain and sound like an oungrateful cow
its not my normal style as its a bit “busy” but its looks pretty different from the original photo and it wasnt cheap either! it does look better on than on the hanger (i know i know, i’m trying so hard to justify it
the puttee on the daaman is a satin one
Re: Bonanza Designer Series Lawn 2011
Just returned from Pak, and unfortunatly most of the designs that are tempting are nearly always put together with dupatta, so Proto is very right, if you like it the way the model is wearing it, then you have to buy 2 suits, i liked one suit it was 4000 rupees, i was like no way am i paying that:nono:, and then you also have some suits that have borders that are not included in the suits! you have to search and buy it yourself if you want it to resemble anything like the models outfit ![]()
