dear bro....

Killing innocents is not allowed in Islam, either they are Americans or Phalestinians, Afghanis or Kashmiris.

And those who did this in America.....(Whole world would be shocked when they find out who did it?????)......
they wouldn't attempt to prove it right from Islam.

They know its wrong, against Islam but they did it.

Yaar It does not matter which religion u look up. Killing innocent people is just not acceptable, its barbaric

. And its by no means got anything to do with the greatest of all religions “Islam”.

Zein

no body will ever appreciate killing of innocents

Who is innocent?

Islam does not allow the deliberate, targetted killing of innocents as seen yesterday.

Islam is the best religion. Fundamental Islam is the worst.
Thanks to the likes of Ladins and Talebans, all of the Muslims are in deep sh*t today.

Obviously bad!!!

No normal person can do such a barbaric thin'...

I absolutely agree.. killing of innocent people is wrong.

Killing of over 100,000 innocent people in Iraq was wrong

Killing over 10,000 innocent people in Sudan was wrong

Killing innocent people in Afghanistan was wrong

Why were these innocent people killed?

so someone told you that OBL is the RESPONSIBLE person? any proofs?

killing of civilians is not supported by any religions. it has been done only by dictators/kings to oppress uprisings in their kingdom.

We oughta be Changez like, don't we?

Yes, some Muslims were happy to hear this news - but not all. It is never right nor justified to bomb innocent people; Islam does not condone this at all. Personally I think any attempts to distinguish civilians by their nationality is revolting. I don't feel more sympathy for someone based upon the language someone speaks, or any other such aspect. Claiming the life of one innocent individual, in Islam, is akin to killing all of humanity.

Please do not form your opinions of Islam based upon the actions of any particular group of Muslims; if indeed genuine evidence subsequently proves that such and such individual committed these terrorist attacks and that person happens to be Muslim, it would be grossly wrong to believe that there is justification in Islam for such a heinous act. Islam is much much more than that, it is a peaceful religion despite all the unfortunate stereotypes.

Islam does not condone the killing of women, of children, of the elderly, in times of war we are told not to even harm vegetation. Our Prophet (saw) would not let his followers attack at night.

Those that cheer at the news of these attacks are pretty pathetic. There's a hadith, where the Prophet(saw) says, You are not a true believer, **until* you wish for your brother what you wish for yourself.'* That does not mean just your sibling, that does not mean your brother in islam, that means your brother in humanity. Islam teaches us to stand with the weak, the oppressed. Whether they're muslim or nonmuslim, to the extent that if its our mother, our father, our spouse, our brother that is taking advantage of another, we cannot side with them. If a fellow muslim does something wrong, its our duty to try to correct them, its also for us not to condone their actions if they are against the teachings of islam.

extremely well stated, GfQ.

I have been following the events that have unfolded in USA recently and have also been watching the Media (across the world)and last but not least, I have been observing the views on this Forum.

My comments:

It is absolutely shocking to see that so many innocent people have been killed under the Banner of ??? There is no justification for this action.

The finger is ever more pointing towards the Muslim community, which does not help matters in the slightest.

The Qur'aan states:

004.029 O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities:

But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful!

004.093 If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.

002.062 Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

The dangerous thing that is arising out of the aftermath is that the whole issue is leaning towards ISLAM V CHRISTIANITY. This is NOT the case and should not be made so either.

The world should unite in fighting Terrorism across the board from all angles. However, the USA and Alliance are only concentrating on the Middles East!

What about the IRA in Ireland who the USA has been supporting!

What about the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka!

What about the Bah Separatists in Spain!

What about the Cuban Terrorists!!

As a matter of fact, what about all the other Terrorists that are not Islamically related!

These also include the 300 plus white Christians in USA that attacked within USA in the year 2000! How is USA going to punish itself for harbouring these groups!!

Surely if the intelligence can intercept telephone calls etc, then the groups should of been identified. However, this is another issue.

If the USA want to retalaite, then so be it. But then the ruling needs to apply across the board.

Iraq should be in first contention as they have lost more inoocent civilians to the USA in recent times. Iraq did not attack USA first!!

USA can now join the club. As horrible as it sounds, some countries have been living with the threat of Terrorism for years. As a matter of fact even the USA has, however it has not been on such a large scale as recently.

The point is that the USA needs to tread very carefully on its retaliation policy. Gaining worldwide support for the fight against Terrorism is brilliant and admirable, but attacking innocent Muslims in Afghanistan in order to prove a Supremecy point is no different to the Terrorists!!

I do hope that mankind does not once again become the root cause of self destruction using Justification as an argument and start World War 3!!!
