You can't really protect yourself from a suicide bomb. Only way is to take offensive action and make the talib leaders feel afraid in their own homes/caves. Do not let them have a sanctuary. Intelligence operations, precision strikes, even IEDs against the turbans, anything to win back Pakistan.
