- Bollywood heartthrobs Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta recently arrived at the Indian amusement part Esselworld by helicopter to receive their trophies as part of the Chhoton Ka Funda Awards 2003.

Although there are already countless award ceremonies for Indian cinema, the Chhoton Ka Funda Awards were voted by over 80,000 school children. Many of the voters attended the fun ceremony with their parents and enjoyed watching the two Bollywood stars receive their Best Actor and Actresses awards.
Some of the children even performed dance numbers and were thrilled when Hrithik came on stage to join them. “When I was a kid, I used to be crazy about stars like the Big B and had the same enthusiasm as these children. Now I’m experiencing the same situation from the other side of the fence,” Hrithik later commented. *

Preity has been signed by the BBC to write a monthly column on life and cinema for their website. Fans of the actress will be able to log onto the Internet and find out their idol's views on everything from cinema to politics. "This column is an opportunity to address any issue," she states with confidence. "I'm not a professional writer but I feel it would be a good opportunity for me to have my say." *
