** Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor finalised for Kaaya **
The two will first be seen in Dharmesh Dharshan’s *Bewafa * but even before its release Anil Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor have already been snapped up for Rituparno Ghosh’s Kaaya.
The Bengali director was keen to sign Malayalam actor Mammooty, but required someone with clear Hindi diction. Ghosh then considered Ajay Devgan but the dusky actor refused to put weight on for the role, as it would affect the look of his other films.
Then the director approached Anil Kapoor and he was only too glad to do the role. The film, set around a feudal Bengali home, also has Manisha Koirala in a pivotal role.
