Vivek Oberoi decided to mark his ** close friend Aishwarya Rai's birthday ;) ** on a grand scale.

The actress turned 30 years old this year and therefore Vivek cleverly presented her with thirty different gifts.

Each gift was hand picked to represent each year in Aishwarya's life, from a diaper for her baby days, to a school uniform for her days as a student.

The surprise was apparently planned a month in advance with plenty of thought and love. Before presenting her with the presents, the couple went on a motorboat ride the night before in Mumbai…very romantic!

Superstar celebrates his birthday with friends and family!

Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his birthday in style this year. The Bollywood superstar may have turned 38 but he wasn't actually expecting any major celebrations.

Luckily his wife Gauri teamed up with director Karan Johar to arrange a surprise party. The event took place at Shah Rukh's amazing mansion in Mumbai and the guest list naturally included some of the biggest names in Bollywood, from Kajol to Amitabh Bachchan to Sushmita Sen.

It became a night to remember with everyone partying the night away and leaving in high spirits. It's certainly a birthday Shah Rukh won't forget in a hurry!
