I see it everywhere on Pakistani news channels and find it appalling and truly classless. I guess Geo started in and the trend caught on like a virus. Does anyone recall when it first started?

i don't know but i would hate it if there was bollywood music everytime i tried to listen to the news, there's a reason why i try my hardest not to watch such movies.....most of the music is appalling. it would be better if atif's or ali's songs were used, hopefully not the ones they did for bollywood movies though
