Hey Sidra, it's called propoganda. Secondly, they are villifying the ba$tards who ought to be villified, the terrorists who have hijacked my religion. In my opinion, these terrorists and mullahs who are going around spreading filth should be villified.
Secondly, if these stupid jihadis had the budget or creativity to spread this kind of propoganda themselves, don't you think they'd do it too?

It's nothing new for "Bollycrap" to villify Muslims. It should be a crime to even associate the name "Muslim" with anything "Bollywood". Their films are simply sorry excuses for entertainment.

Haha - what a misleading and one sided viewpoint… most of the movie clips they’ve selected are from movies based on the subject of partition where the movies have depicted similar magnitudes of Muslim as well as Hindu atrocities.
As per other terrorist thematic movies, there are obviously some exaggerations in them but one can exercise their discretion whether to watch or not to watch them... not every movie is worth watching… any given year, out of the 600 or so movie, may be there are 5 movies worth watching.

They have also banned all sports, including World Cup Soccer. They arrested a few for watching soccer.
Basically they want everyone to just pray, No Entertainment.

while potrayal of muslims in bad light by bollywood is deplorable, equally deplorable is Indian muslims eagerly involved in the process- most of the film clips shown in the video had muslim actors and actresses(Tabu, Diya Mirza etc.). Plus why dont all "chhotu" lilliput khans- ShahRukh, Salman, Saif and Aamir(I guess there's a problem with Pathans refusing to grow taller) who rule bollywood refuse to act in these films.. you should see Aamir bachcha khan in Sarfarosh- he was abusing Pak and muslims blatantly. Indian muslims are like that- they like to be beaten up- either on celluloid or on the streets- sab ke sab bai-ghairat jinhey kufr ka ilm nahin. alig_reinvented, you're right bout wahabis- how jaahil can you be when you kill and bomb your own sunni brothers(barelvis)?

The clip is manipulated cant you see they have shown edited scenes for Example :
** In the initial part of the clip scenes from movie Gadar have shown but they conveniently missed the part where Hindus attack Muslims. (Hindus attack Amrish puri's [Playing a Muslim] family when he is trying to escape Pakistan, A Hindu is saved by a Muslim in riots).

As per my knowledge Muslim population in India is 22 to 25% now how has the film producer derived this foolish stats that 40 to 50% of the Bollywood audience is Muslim

Was 2nd largest but muslim population is remaning static and it all changed in 2001 census- Pakistan now has many more million muslims than India cuz of higher growth rate. tussi hollow ho!

The impact of media is huge and it is being used quite effectively in the west and in bollywood. The media focuses on all the negative connotations about islam and this is how public opinion in the west is shaped. I do agree that Islam has been hijacked by a few fringe elements but you should also look at all the atrocities, injustices that muslim countries and muslims in general have been subjected to. when you are pushed against the wall where do you go from there? But again whos to blame? i am sure muslims contributed to there state of affairs much more than any outside powers. There is not a single country in the world whcih represent islam in its true spirit. its a religion of peace, prosperity, progress and justice and after all, peaceful coexistence. During the middle ages islamic empire was at its peak. Baghdad and other cities were considered seats of learning. there were great muslim scholars and scientists but once muslims became complacent and forgot the true teachings it lead to the demise of the empire.
The solutions are quite complex but as far as long as there are corrupt muslim rulers abusing there people we shouldn't point fingers towards others. Muslims need to set there own home in order first before we embark on overseas adventure. Media is one big resource that can be used to help the muslims and the west understand, the true and in depth message of islam and the root causes of all the current global issues involving musilims which are leading to terrorism, death and destruction.
