being bold - is it same as being provocative?

when does boldness turninto silliness?

Re: bold does not mean silly? does it?

There is no definite YES or NO answer to this.
Inviting trouble bold? NO but definitely foolish. It has more to do with objectivity. Taking unneccessarily drastic steps to accomplish something insignificant is sillyness.
