I thought she was just being herself and not at all superficial/made-for-television. She admitted her shortcomings and that she's difficult to work with (as Mansoor has himself stated quite a bit) and it takes a lot of honesty to be like that. A solid interview and frankly quite refreshing to see a star who's not just there to give fake soundbites to increase her popularity.

i have never heard shoaib mansoor stating anything against iman ali.he is happy with her that is why he takes iman in his projects.

Yes but then she goes on to demonstrate that she is comfortable wearing knee-length skirts but anything shorter would be unacceptable. She has worn such dresses in in Pak fashion shoots before so I'm not surprised. She visited mumbai to attend Ali Zafar's film premier so they must have called her in.

But her dress is actually above her knees and when she stands up it'll obviously be even shorter. Its just looks ridiculous and funny for her to say that, that's all.

When u sit ur dress rides up not down !!!!!

Maybe so, I didn't analyse the cut of her skirt to be honest and neither am I about to.

I actually liked this interview, I don’t think the interviewer has come across an actress quite like Iman on his show and he seemed visibly impressed. Its refreshing to see someone so modest (sometimes a bit too much), honest and not so politically correct. Being thin is a part of her job as she is still modelling.

LOVED her response to the “dil dukhana” question. It was a very real and honest interview.

its ok she needed an excuse to look modest or conservative infront of the man interveiwing her. She is right its ok to show your boobs and stomach but you should not show your thighs its really vulgur and cheap =/

Finally saw this movie. Definitely Rated R! It would be disturbing to see kids watching this movie!

The person playing the father did a great job - you really hated his guts - but boy it was a tough pill to swallow that one person could be so evil personified. Too much like a Hindi movie villain.
Iman Ali was funny in her very small role. I got all emotional (being a girl) when she sees are daughter at the end doing her homework - nice touch :)
Humaima was surprisingly good! Some of her dialogues were also well written!
I didn't realize that Pakistani jails had women wear dresses lol When they hang her, you could see her legs, which was kind of funny.
The guy playing Saifi was great too. Although I don't believe in Shoaib Mansoor's take that children are born gay. Either you have a boy or a girl. You don't have homosexual babies and you cannot tell when a baby is born if he or she is going to want to not follow the normal sexual pattern of liking the opposite sex. That was just very strange for me personally.

Overall a good enough movie. It could have been made a little simpler by not crowding all the issues into one movie and into one person.
I liked KKL better.

saw the movie almost a week ago... loved it.

i hadnt read the storyline before watching it... so wasnt too sure what it was going to be about.... so, i was actually quite surpised, if not shocked with the developments of the movie... luckily, the kids were in another room... but slighly uncomfortable in times with the brother, dad, mum and others sitting around.... lol

a lot of people who have watched the movie... come out thinking that the father, mister hakeem saab, is all bad and evil.... maybe so... i dunno... but the movie, i believe, had another message as well.... which i am not 100% whether shoaib mansoor was trying to get at... but what i got out of it was that, at times of crazy pressure, we're all capable of doing sins... take for example, the scene where the daughters and the wife push hakeem saab to take the money.. he had no intention of doing that... he could have used that money before, but he didnt.... but when he did, it started another turn of crazy events for him..

khair, i think the movie had A LOT of themes... too many for the one movie, but hey... still an extremely good movie... i would watch it again just to analyse it some more..

i loved humaima... but more so, i loved the hakeem saab's acting... he was BRILLIANT.... at times crazy... at times completely vulnerable.. at times just pure evil..

just another note... for those who are saying, why on earth would someone make such a depressing movie... why not? and if someone has... and u dont want to watch such a movie... dont watch it... maybe?

Finally I saw the movie and I'm happy b'coz I was alone when I saw it. Neverthless the movie for me is like a 'dabba' movie, all actors/actress played theirs role very well. No doubt on their talent but scripts of movie is totally 'dabba'.

The stupid international version of Bol does not have that song.
How much time did they save by chopping it out, anyway ?
