Boko Haram Leader Claims God Commands Him To Sell Women

Re: Boko Haram Leader Claims God Commands Him To Sell Women

if by ‘some people’ you are referring to me, then I would request that you treat me with respect as I treat you an addressing me directly, even when we disagree. if you can’t do that then I see no point in trying to discuss anything and like others I can either resort to one upmanship type posts, or better yet not bother engaging. Your call amigo.

I see our disconnect now…I see the essence of your posts, that a number of scholars have condemned the girls kidnapping. I know that. I was referring to major condemnation of this..and other such groups, by media and established religious leaders…by name of the organization. Boko Haram, LeT, Sipah e sahaba.

the GS thread about the Nigerian boys murders got one whopping reply. How can we accuse anyone of ignoring the boys murders and embracing the girls kidnap, when we did the same…as you said

… do we all have a bias, where we all responded with a collective yawn…I dont know.

The only thing widespread condemnation does is that it starts stripping away the cloak of acceptability or looking away by ordinary people. It is not going to do jack for psychos already brainwashed.

But you are right, condemnation means jack, so it should be action…Nigeria, and if not Nigeria, OIC, and if not OIC then anyone else…just destroy this scum. right?

dont they? Shoudlnt Nigerians just destroy this group. It has been operating for years.
and if Nigerians can’t or will not, should they be punished by OIC…sanctions perhaps.
forget about loudmouths on 24 cable channels, sit back think calmly and ask yourself…could more have been done…thats it.
I dont care who else has to say what and what their agendas are, I am only looking at it from a rational manner and asking, could more have been done..
just like I look at the fasad in pakistan…not just the current crop but the sipah e sahaba, Let, Tej etc in the 90s and could we have done more as a society, a nation. Not buying into anyone else’s rhetoric, or agendas..real, assumed, alleged..whatever.

My only other issue is when people (not you..saw many on Facebook) are saying dont do 'right ’ this time by saving the girls, because you did not do ‘right’ last time…we can have that debate but for god’s sake dont oppose any real pressure and efforts to save some innocent girls.
