bohot he mudat key bad kal jab
kitab_e_mazi ko may nay khola

bohat say chahray nazar may uttray
bohat say namo pay dill pasiga

ake aysa safha bhe es may aya
likha howa tha jo ansoon say

kay jis ka unwan humsafer tha
jo safha sab say he motaber tha

kuch aur ansoon pher es pay tapkay
pher es say agay may perh (read) na paya

kitabay_e_mazi ko band ker kay
tumhary yadoon may kho gaya may

ager tu milta tu kaisa hota
enhi khayaloon may soo gayaa may
