Maham I see your location is Lahore. I have a terrible experience of getting my arms waxed in lahore on my sis wedding. It was so painful that I had to tell the lady to stop that torture instantly and do threading instead. Those ladies are very cruel and they do not know anything on how to do wax properly. Next time you go you make sure they do below:
1- dust telcum powder before applying the wax. I know they dont use telcum powder.
2- Tell the lady to use some thin wax strips like stiff cotton and not jeans or anything woolen which is very common there.
3- Wax should be enough hot that your skin can bear easily. Cold wax is EXTREMELY painful. Also your wax should be thinner then honey but viscous ofcourse.
4- Here in UAE, the wax pot is kept on an electric stove thruout the waxing period to keep its temp high.
5- When the wax is thin n hot, you do not require a thick layer on ur skin. only a thin layer serves the purpose well.
6- Avoid waxing during your speical days. Coz in those days your whole body is very sensitive.
7- I wont suggest taking medicines... not a good advise at all. Avoid unecessary use of medications.
8- Use above even if you do it at home and do not go to palor.
