Is there absolutely any way, any method to make it less painful :(…like seriously its a nightmare. And no with time it hasnt really become any less painful…ok ya lil bit but doesnt count after all these years of waxing lol. Seriously, there gotta be something to make it less painful. Don’t suggest other methods of hair removals…:).
Re: Body Waxing
Take pain killers before you get it done or use numbing cream.
Re: Body Waxing
really? would that help? i m thinking the numbing cream mite make it hard for the hair to come out properly lol i dont know why but its just a thought that crossed my mind...
Re: Body Waxing
I find it very painful too....I hate waxing:(
btw I think using a talcum powder before waxing helps a little.

I've never used numbing cream but do take a couple of paracetamol around half an hour before I wax.
Re: Body Waxing
exactly wat uzzybuzzy said.

woho really? couple? i m very finicky abt taking medication and i m nt sure if couple is really a good idea....
U can use Emla cream it's a numbing cream apply it half an hour before waxing..they wipe it off before waxing so there's no chance of "the hair not coming out properly" :)
If threading is painful as well.. use baby teething gel (works really well!) the teething gel is for the eyebrows only.

Hey Gina:
Recently FDA issued a statement alerting public of dangers of Numbing products…apparently they can be very fatal since two women died coz of them during a laser procedure sometime back…my question is do you know a safe one?? I am scared to try these without a positive feedback
and I’ve never used any before…
FDA Alerts Public about Danger of Skin Numbing Products
Don´t wax just before you periods and during.
A topical cream/gel isn't really likely to take u're life.. I don't suggest people use it everytime all the time..but once a while it's alright. Scrub u're skin the night before (make sure u remove all the dead cells) and make sure u're skin's dry before u wax.. dust talcum powder all over. This helps the wax/sugaring attach itself to the hair follicle instead of u're skin.
Apply a calming/soothing lotion with aloe vera, green tea, chamomile after u're done :)
*This is great, thank you!!! :)

just wondering is it beacause it hurts even more during those few days, or some other reason.?
Re: Body Waxing
^hurts even more in fact dont wax one week b4 your period or during
Re: Body Waxing
Hurts more 1 week before and even during having periods. So a bit of ´wax´planning is certainly not wrong.
