What does this shaping thing do? Do you for bust (for the lack of a better term) or for entire body?

you can get various ones- corsets, or girdles, uplifters, etc... either for different parts if you need specific help or a combo one.

i had lost weight before the wedding but i wasn't very toned so my mom splurged and got me one for the wedding. theres this fab store on the danforth called "sophia's" and we got it there for around $200. mine is like a one piece swimsuit with a built in bra. it just gives you a nice smooth overall shape and pulls everything in, and the kameez sits really well on top.
just make sure whatever shaping stuff you wear, you wear to your dress fitting too otherwise the fitting won't come out right.
the best thing is, i've worn it so much afterwards too... its just an additional bit of mental confidence, more than anything else i think.

have u guys ever used Spanxx stuff? I've heard it's really good but I'm not so sure (cz its not like u can try it on and return it)...

Mrs Saieen, if you'r in the UK you might be able to but them from QVC or Ideal World (The shopping channels) they normally allow you to return it within 30 days if you don't think its right.

im pretty sure you could probably try it and return it, sara... most places in the US have a good return policy. better than in canada!

Actually i did return it, supposedly ur not even sposed to wear underwear w/ it EW!!! ( i dint try it on btw)

I have a friend wear it under the Pakistani party clothes.Does give a smooth appearance.
I tried them after my first baby, but they just kept in making the pants/shalwars slip a lot..so I quit:)
