Mabrook O Mabrook :)
Put some vinegar on your skin, wait for couple of minutes. The vinegar will evaporate and so will the smell, but the effect will stay. It’s not like you’ll be walking around with wet underarms that smell like strong vinegar. Only you’ll know that you have put vinegar. Besides, you can always dilute vinegar with rose water, lavender water or just water. You can keep the ratio of water and vinegar 1:1, or 2:1 or any ratio you like. There are no hard and fast rules.
Umm .. regarding essential oil, how did you smell it? If you smelt it directly from the bottle, its likely to come strong. The pure essential oils can have a very overpowering aroma, because it is after all concentrated essence. In order to get the most out of essence, you have to use less of it, let say, one drop of essential oil per ounce of liquid. Essential oils are like salt, when used in the right amount, it enhances all the other flavors.. And you just know that it’s there. If used too much, it can literally consume the dish. Too much essential aroma can be an assault on the sense of smell. Especially, when we are so used to smelling synthetic/artificial aromas in detergents, shampoos, soaps, air fresheners, etc. How many times a year we pause and smell a flower (the one that has never been genetically modified, never given any synthetic fertilizer, pesticides, and other such things)
Just play around with different smells, rub some behind your ears, get used to the smell. Essential oil directly talks to the limbic system in our brain. Yeah ... always use pure essential oils, the synthetic ones are .. well .. synthetic, not real.
