Bodies found at US rapist's house

**Police in the Ohio city of Cleveland have found at least three bodies at the home of a convicted rapist.**The badly decomposed remains were discovered at the house of 50-year-old Antony Sowell when police came to arrest him on a rape charge.

Police suspect they have also found a further three bodies at the property and are awaiting confirmation of this from the coroner.

Sowell, who spent 15 years in prison for a 1989 rape, is now on the run.

The bodies were found both inside the house and in its garden.

One of the bodies was found in a shallow grave dug in the basement of the property, local media report.

On Friday, crowds gathered outside Sowell’s home, in the city’s East Side, holding posters of missing relatives and loved ones.

The Cleveland Police Department is offering a $12,000 (£7,200) reward for information that leads to Sowell’s capture.
