What do you guys like and use more?? Should I make the switch to Bobbi after using MAC for years. I am finding it just doesn’t do anything for my skin anymore. My skin isn’t the healthiest but it’s never been this way before, I feel like I lack a glow and makeup isn’t helping that either?
Re: Bobbi Brown vs. MAC
I would consider a new skin care regime rather than switching make up brands. This sort of happened to me and I found that the MAC skin care products (particularly the marine bright formula) really helped to bring back that healthy glow.....

Really, I never thought about that. I don't know anything about skin care. What did your treatment involve?

This.
I find that makeup only tends to help things along. Your skin is your real beauty asset...the healthier your skin is...the better makeup looks. You could get away with the simplest of things.
The texture, tone and clarity of your skin is what matters.
Your question was about MAC vs Bobbi Brown though so getting back to that...
Each line has certain "star" products. I love Bobbi Brown because of their color range. Their foundation sticks are great once you learn how to use them.
I like MAC's water based moisture gel, concealers, setting powders and some shadows a lot.
It depends on what you want and need. I used to like MAC Studio Fix fluid but no matter how dark I go, I always get that white caste. So I stopped using it.
The best way to find out is take some time, go to Nordstrom and play around with both lines. Let them do half of your face with each product in the proper shade so you can compare. Don't get talked into buying anything you're not really sure about either.

It isn't a "treatment" per se......more a routine/regime.
Making sure that I cleanse properly twice a day and applying the gel and moisture cream that MAC carries.
Sometimes I used to get lazy and just go to bed without applying moisturizer......I found short cuts like putting a container of cleansing cloths and the cream on my night table so there was no excuse.
I also focused a bit more on my diet and made sure that I was getting the right nutrition.
All of this has helped for me.
Re: Bobbi Brown vs. MAC
For makeup or atleast foundation, I like Mac better. Bobbi Brown foundations just never gave me that finish I looked for.
Re: Bobbi Brown vs. MAC
I like Bobbi Brown more personally, although when it comes to seasonal collections the MAC ranges seem a lot more creative/fun!
Re: Bobbi Brown vs. MAC
Im a mAC user too! But I had gone to Bobbi brown today and tried on their foundation stick and also the liquid one - i think they gave me better coverage and also a more " natural" finish than MAC…but well went ahead and bought MAC again cus BB was a tad more expensive than MAC:bummer:

S and S:
As already mentioned by Muzna & Reha, makeup won't help you get healthy skin. You really should invest time in learning more about skin care. Depending on your skin type, its non-makeup skin care that will help give you nice, smooth, glowy skin. Diet (cutting back in fried/sugary food...eating more fruits/veggies) and regular exercise will also help.
Moving onto Make-up - Bobby Brown vs. MAC:
MAC hands down is the winner for me. BB foundations are very yellow toned. Even though I'd approx. NC40.....BB was too yellow for me. When I was looking to change foundations last year, I would' find a match. However, I did recently get the BB under eye corrector and am liking it so far. But BB is more expensive than MAC. And when it comes to eye make-up and blush color choices (especially when you also include MAC Pro items)......BB is no where near MAC.
Side note: In regards to fondations, I think it's def. worth checking out other brands. I used MAC foundations for years but now have switched to MUFE HD and NARS (Lancome & Chanel has some great ones too.....along with Revlon). BUT since your issue is skin care....I really think you should focus on that first before switching foundations.
