I didn’t have a counter near me so I ordered it via Sephora and the color I got does brighten and matches my skin but doesn’t cancel the darkness completely so I think I’m going to exchange colors. I got Light to Medium Bisque but I think I’m gonna go for Light Peach instead. The peachy-ness helps cancel out brown/grey/purple tones while the Bisque works better with blue or green.
Generally, most people find the Bisque shades are too ashy. What shade do you guys use? Please mention your skintone if possible because I dont have a counter near me and need to order online. I’m a NC20-25 and found the Light to Medium Bisque shade brightening but not enough to cancel out darkness. Turns out most people use Peach anyway.
I use bobbi brown foundation ( honey) the corrector and concealer, cant rem the shade, but I'm sure it will be honey too.
Simply love... its matches my skin tone soooooooo perfectly !!!
Funny thing is my sis is slightly farier than she she also uses the same , it looks great on her and my cousin who is only 20 , dosent really apply makeup, almost similar to my skin tone I used it on her at a wedding, upclose u could see the corrector was diff than her skin tone, but then once I applied my concealer and foundation on her...it didnt show any more... and boy oh boy did her skin look great on camera...
Just love Bobbi Brown, I even use her tinted moisturizer, eye shadows, rouge brick and lipstick !!!!!!
She is a bit exp but since it don't apply make up during weekdays to office only on weekends it lasts longer for me , so I guess its ok.
Not sure if this’ll help, but I don’t have the corrector…I have the creamy concealer/fine powder duo instead. I tried a ‘Bisque’ shade and it was too dark for me. So, I was matched to ‘Sand’ with ‘Pale Yellow’ powder. It doesn’t brighten the area as such, but it covers the dark shadows perfectly. This chart might help you compare shades: http://www.bobbibrown.co.uk/media/pdf/formula_shade_guide.pdf (I’m NC25 for reference).
I tried a corrector a few months back, I loved how my skin looked in pix camera, but in real, it looked very very dark orange to me. still worth a try tho. oh and in mac I guess i'm a NC25-30, and the makeup artist at sephora used either medium or medium to dark bisque on me.
But this was still in summertime when I was a little more tanned, so maybe I'll try it again in the next few weeks to see if there's any difference in shades.
do they sell bobbi brown in canada? i was watching a youtube video where the women used the bobbi brown corrector (she was desi) and it looked awesome. im thinking of getting it myself. would The Bay have them?
^ Afshi, the Bay doesn't carry it. But you can definitely find it in Holt Renfrew, that's where I picked up mines when I was in Toronto.
As for the corrector itself, I personally am a big fan of Bobbi Brown's entire line in general. I am a NC-20/25, and the SA matched me to a light bisque. I got home, tried it on and I could still see the darkness under the eyes. So I went back and got light peach instead, and that worked like a charm. The salmon color really conceals the darkness. So if you are my shade, go for light peach. :)
I love Bobbi Brown...most of their stuff is really good. I have their blush in Flame and its just hot.
The corrector I have not tried yet though...I have their foundation and it goes on really well but its very heavy so I only reserve it for special occasions or serious coverage.

PERFECT! Thank you so much! I'm exchanging for Light Peach right now!

I have a question, I didn't want to create a whole thread over this so thought i'd just ask you :-D i've been using NC 35 from MAC in studio fix powder and it looks great, and yesterday I tried NC 35 in the pressed powder and it looked like I was putting bronzer on my face and when I was done trying it my on, my sister was like "woah! what'd you do?" I loved how it absorbed oil so i'm planning on getting it, but do you (or anyone else here!) know if the pressed powders are a shade or two darker? or was the tester that I used probably just told and turned dark?

Afshi, I bought BB corrector about a month ago or so from Sephora at the Eaton Centre....They contain a good variety of BB products there but, unfortunately, not the whole range.
