Its one of the most tragic news in the history of Pakistani cricket... First the most humiliated defeat from the minnow team that gets out of worlcup in just in second match.. and followed by the death of our coach...

he definately worked hard for the team.... He was a great man.. may he rest in peace. ameen

I am 100% sure that it has to do with the defeat. he looked very upset yesterday in the dressing room, our players have not just let down the whole nation but more to bob... he did alot for our team......

he is a great loss to every nation who plays cricket....

*Oh well at least the PCB did one thing right, they informed his wife and family before releasing the news to the media and took his wife's permission to announce his death. Didn't expect such maturity or professionalism from them. *

I am sure the players will be devastated but it would be a good and befitting honour to the man. Bob would like that because he was a professional coach and cricket was his life.

I guess this early exit makes sense now. There is no way the players would have been focussed on cricket after such a big loss had they moved on to the Super 8 round. Allah ki marzi.

I think they should play in honour of Bob. He would have liked Pak to go and give their best in each match in any scenario.

Technically speaking, I do not think Pak will be allowed to simply forfeit the match - whatever the reasons. It would indirectly hamper Ireland's chances to get into the Super 8 as the Net Run Rate may be called into question.

Just woke up and got this news first up. Cannot explain what I felt :( Extremely sad day for all of us... :( May his soul rest in Peace :( Im still speechless...seems like a bad dream...

it feels extremely personal, everyone i know is depressed about it. his website and interaction there brought him closer to pakistani cricket fans.

there is the very real possibility of all this having been triggered by the match yesterday, and that makes me atleast feel very ashamed of what i might have said.
