Re: Bob Woolmer Interview

Thanks Teaser.. Good interview.

Some interesting stuff from that interview which we have been discussing here as well..

  1. Plan to put a rotation policy in place for fast bowlers. Too much cricket is happening, and bowlers, especially fast bowlers, will break down, no matter how fit they try to keep themselves. Also some discussion about Shoaib's ankle injury.
  2. Good batsmen in the wings, even when Inzi doesn't play. Some discussion about Inzi's back problem due to his slouched batting position.
  3. Need to improve fielding and catching
  4. Inzi is the spiritual leader of the team and there are speeches after each namaaz (either on cricket or life etc) and that helps bond the team together
  5. Greg Chappal's statement, if he made it, is a slip. Don't make statements about opposing team players in the middle of the series. Shoaib's action is different. Whether he throws or not is a separate discussion.

Re: Bob Woolmer Interview

^ Ditto! And I think its a great overview of the current Pakistan team which still has much to do in some areas of the games. But 1st thing 1st, they have started to click for each other as a team and the prasie goes to new found love for ‘Deen-e-Islam’ and the spiritual focus and hheelings it has to offer.
