After the tremendous success of Shahid Afridi Fan Club (closed so tragically in its jawaani) and Shoaib Akhtar Fan Club, the Fan Club Creators Guild proudly presents to you another jewel in Pakistani Cricket. And he is not even a Pakistani… beat that!
Bob Woolmer

Since installed as the coach of Pakistan team, Bob has enthused the fans of Pakistan cricket with a new hope. But make no mistake; he has many distractors. Love him or hate him, you just can’t ignore him.
Here is an excerpt from an article on Cricketnext to start off the proceedings…
To my mind, the one person who could be termed pioneer of professional coaching is none other than BOB WOOLMER. Bob Woolmer is the coach who introduced technology to this gentleman’s game.
Bob Woolmer is also the pioneer of Trans-national coaching. Wonder why Bob, who played for England, chose to coach South Africa? Well, in 1993, the ECB preferred Keith Fletcher as England coach and Bob had no choice but to opt for South Africa. England’s loss was South Africa’s gain. The English bosses will rue their decision to this date.
Amongst his other accomplishments, he was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year 1976.
I want to marry Woolmer - I love him so much. he's the greatest thing to happen to Pak cricket since the day Imran Khan donned the green uniform (I know I've said this before).
I'd go further but it will cause problems for me in the future.

Ehsan bhai... since you took ownership of Shahid Afridi Fan Club, I suggest you let someone else take Woolmer. Samby is shaping up to be an excellent candidate.
I remember someone (it was a GUY) crying to marry Abdul Razzaq and have his children, now we see another GUY wanting to marry another guy what has this world come to ???
It seems samby bhai jaan's unexpected wedding proposal may just derail the fan club. Can we please get the discussion back on Woolmer's cricket skills? Thanks.
Bubloo is sure the pioneer of the progressive modern day cricket coaching. South Africa refined under his coaching. I hope that he will sort out Pakistani batsmen’s technical issue very quickly. We should give him atleast a year to shape up the team. He does lots of home work on the team he is going to coach. He was given the current 16 players that are rotating these days as well the 22 player list that we had in Feb before Indian tour. If he was given enough authority, which he will try to get nonetheless, he will decide who will stay and who should go. The only obstacle in this merit based filteration is the parchi system. He will have to fight really hard with the h*****zaaday sifarshi tattoos, who do not deserve the green cap, but are being brought again and again and showing no improvement. Younis Khan is one example. I believe Farhat is in danger too, since he is the biggest parchi-wala along with Hafeez. I hope Bubloo will fight for the right of a coach, that was not given to Miandad in past.
Since Akhat had meetings with Bubloo in England, before joining the camp in Pak for Asia cup that is why he has a positive attitude in last two tourney. A good sign indeed. But what happened to his performance, he looked almost impotent I am wondering if he continues this in ICC Champ and SL series, whats gonna happen to him. Shabbir and Shoaib look same at times, other than speed there is no much difference. Shoaib’s recent stats are not upto …whatever he claims to be.
