My skin is really fair and sensitive, it gets red really easily during the summertime. Is there product a cream or something I could apply to reduce the redness?
Since you say its in the summertime, maybe its sunburn? You should definately wear sunblock lotion and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun
Actually I don't go out a lot my exposure is limited, I just get red really easily from the heat around me I was wondering if their was a cream or something you could apply to cool it down.
hmm..maybe a lotion or a cold cream might help.
is it really red or just a tinge of color because honestly a little color on the cheeks is cute and if you can manage that without the blush then good for you!
I know I've mentioned it before, but using Rose Oil as a moisturiser really is the best thing for taking the redness and sensitivity out of skin, especially if it's dry too. You can use it just at night too.
Otherwise you can get various creams and moisturisers that are designed specifically for this kind of problem but it's a case of trial and error before you find what suits your own skin best. Dermalogica products come highly recommended by most people with sensitive skin, or Dr Hauschka products.
oh i ve same problem
…
last year i tried clinique sun care producats…
its been great help :k:..
try it ..
specailly clinique City Block…
Me too, it's really very annoying. I can't go out in the sun at all or sit in a room that lacks air conditioning without looking like a tomato.
I tried Clinique City Block, it didn't do much for me. Of course I only tried it for a month before I got lazy.
I tried using refrigerated Rose Water as a toner for a while, of course that's not at all the same as Rose Oil, but I hvaen't had the chance to get that.
The rest of you, let us know what works when you figure it out.
TOMATO??? ![]()
Some people just have red faces, and may blush and flush at the drop of a hat. This is very annoying (because friends and acquaintances always make inane comments about sunbrn or whatever, but that’s just human nature.) But facial redness is not by itself a disease.
I would suggest using green-tinted foundation (pale green and red “cancel each other out.”) In our culture, men dn’t wear makeup
often. So this is only for ladies ![]()
But there’s no reason they couldn’t, especially if they realize that with proper technique, nobody needs to know it’s there.
If the redness bothers you as much as it seems to you, you may want to get some advice at cosmetic counter – there are many brands of pale green makeup. Also, you should avoid things that trigger flushing, such as hot liquids, caffeine, spices, or alcohol, at least when you’ll be among people.
Good luck :biggthumb
my nose gets red at times ![]()
^your nose is so cute,tikhi!! ![]()
samina mm
Don’t waste your money on expensive brands like Clinique. I’d recommend OLAY lotion & cream w/ UV defense, they are the best to protect your skin from getting rashes from sun rays. Another thing I love about OLAY lotion is it totally absorbs itself in the skin the moment you apply it…You’ll love it! :k:
yeah it looks like a pakora (or atleast thats wat my mom says :D )
though my skin is not that fair but I too have that problem, what I usually do is avoid sun rays or simply put any moisturiser available, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. oh and sometimes when i'm out in the afternoons, i start sneezing for some reason. does this mean i'm allergic to sun rays?

Where can I find Rose Oil? my skin is really sensitive it changes at the slightest touch
I was wondering if it could be due to something I eat on a regular basis are their foods that promote redness? foods I should be avoiding...
Yes it can be linked to certain foods that eat. My trigger used to be cheese.
If you're in the UK then the best rose oil is from Neals Yeard as it's the purest and most organic one you can get. Otherwise it's just a case of getting some from a health food store, or a beauty counter that specialises in selling natural products.
