what’s everyone’s favorite blusher? what brands do you use and what shade?

MAC & NARS.

Out of the MAC ones I have, Fleur Power is one of my all time fav. Among the NARS ones I have....Sin, Taj Mahal, and Lovejoy are my fav.

I cant stress it enough, NARS is my favorite blush brand ever. But I like MAC and Chanel too.

My new favorite blush is Chanel's Pink Explosion. NARS Orgasm, Desire, Taj Mahal and Dolce Vita. MAC's Fun & Games. Oh and I found a new drugstore favorite from Physicians Formula Happy Booster blush in Rose.

orgasm by nars and warm soul (i think thats the name) mineralize blush by MAC. I think both colors complement my skin tone.

Agreed...NARS is awesome! I will be shocked if I ever actually finish any of the ones I have b/c you need so little!

I'm NC42...I have NARS Sin, Lovejoy, Torrid, Taj Mahal, Taos. I plan on getting Desire, Gilda, and Exhibit A.

I really wanted Mata Hari but when I swatched it at Sephora on my hand, the texture seemed really chalky (which was a shock considering its NARS!). I also hear GREAT things about Orgasm but unfortunately, it doesn't show up on me (I think it would work much better for lighter skin tones).

Aw i have some of those shades, i have to be carefull with blushers though need to keep away from the orangy and browny tones as it makes my face look dirty, im really light skinned so stick to rosy colors like gilda and dolce vita and orgasm i love these shades :)

i brought a mac blush palette which is just great and saves me the hassle :)

I know! I love it so much, it works perfect against my NC20-25 skin. I actually bought it via another guppan from her blog sale. It was Limited Edition here in the US and I got it for less than half the price. Such a good find!

Oh and Paheli, I love that you love NARS. I have a serious OBSESSION with them. I have 10: Orgasm, Exhibit A, Sin, Oasis, Desire, Lovejoy, Dolce Vita, Amour, Taj Mahal and Madly. I plan on getting Deep Throat and Gilda. And you NEED to get Exhibit A, you will love it! I just stipe it lightly on my cheeks using a MAC #187 and it gives the best cheeks ever.

Well, Asian skin can vary and can go from super-pale to super-dark. Personally, I find it shows up better if you're on the lighter end of Asian skin. Are you familiar w/ MAC's skin tone method? If yes, I'm an NC20-25 and it shows up perfect on my skin, like a cool-pink, pretty much exactly how it looks in the pan and it gives my cheeks a very pink flush which I LOVE. It is buildable so that is another plus and I've seen some blogs where it worked well on skins as far as NC37-40.

NARS MAC, and, tarte, Benefits. ^ I think laura mercier is going to be my next fav brand, absolutely in love with their foundations and makeup. In department store brands I would say nyx, Elf, and Covergirl. I just recently got this amazing peachy blush from tarte and I'm obsessed with it. Ill share the name later, too lazy to go look it up atm.

Sarah: I think even with light skin tone....you can find blushes with orangy or brown tones that will look good. You just need to look harder...lol. :) I have all my e/s on MAC palettes....I've been playing around with the idea of depotting MAC blushes too....

On a side note...I hate NARS packaging! I with their blush tops were see through. :(

M_was_here: Exhibit A is on my "list" for sure! BTW, llamasqa seems to be very popular at MUA...this weekend at Sephora, I'l going swatch some of their stuff (along with BB). :)

Apple Blossom : Sleek Blush have a new blush called 'suede' from their nude collection, found it just yesterday and fell in love with it!'Tea Rose' is a nice peachy/pinkish colour too :)
