Re: blushers

Bobbi Brown has really nice colors for blushers - I use two different ones, day and night. Her colors are very intense so a little goes a long way Ive noticed. Also Laura Mercier...she has some shimmery cheek high liters that look so great in the summer.

Re: blushers

I use Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, Mac, Chanel, and Nars in Orgasm.

Not all at the same time ;)

Re: blushers

oh yh heard of bobbi brown she has some stuff but i actally wana know the colors.... not the brands lol

Re: blushers

if you want to experiment with shades first, i would go with a cheap n cheery but really pretty option of Maybelline Dream Mousse blushes, for a day to day basis. its a very lightweight mousse formula, very easy to blend, just the right amount of colour, comes in very pretty shades of pinks and plums. i have used ‘peach satin’ :k:

heres what it look likes

I know, I was wondering that too..hehe. I mean i'm fair with pink cheeks but I guess the rest i would say yellow pale. So which colour should i use?

Re: blushers

Bobbi Brown:

Washed Rose is a very sheer pinky one...great for daytime and has some shimmer to it too.

Flame is a bit more dramatic and has a lot of red in it so be careful applying it...a slight touch of it is all anyone really needs!

I'll have to find my Laura Mercier one...havent used it in a few weeks...

Re: blushers

has any 1 tried bourjois lune d'or- its suppose to be good for asian skin its peachy pink with gold shimmer?

i dont mind using the standrd ones from superdrugs or boots i jus want colors that would suit my skin am a bit fussy like that and that one u posted is really nice am gona go check it out tommorw insallah

Mac mineralize finish colours are awesome.. most of them are really nice on desi skin tones- also there are a few from the body shop that are awesome if ou want that 'matt' sort of look. How fair or dark are you?

i know, finding the right blush isn't easy. thats why i suggested these to sort of experiment with the shades, since its affordable and has very pretty pinks and plums to suit both fair to medium skin tones (esp asian) thats what i did, till i found the right shade and then you can move on to the better quality ones keeping the shade that suits you, in mind :)

Re: blushers

Folks i have a question ... how do you apply the mousse blush ? I was at boots today and was looking through the mabelline range ... pickd a little tester and it became strange .. you know like if you rub the rubber , you get that leftover stuf ... it was quite similar to it ... and i was like dunno if the tester had become too dry or was my skin too dry etc ...

Re: blushers

^ mousse make up is like this mostly. its light but its really hard well honestly nearly impossible to blend. hats off to the girls who can actually blend mousse make up.

Re: blushers

Billi, there must be some way to deal with that , no? :hmmm:

can anyone tell us how you handle mousse makeup? or rather how you blend it on your skin …

Re: blushers

^ the blush had a rubbery/hard texture? hmm not good, something definitely wrong with that tester. the best part about this product is the texture, which is a very lightweight air-whipped formula (literally, u can see air pockets in there like u would in a mousse) when u scoop it out it literally melts on your skin so a little bit goes a long way when you blend it on your cheeks. maybe it doesn't have a good shelf life and turns cakey if left exposed to the elements, after all it is only around $5

Re: blushers

I think Nars Orgasm looks great on pale skintones. And it looks very natural!

Nars Overjoy is really good for wheatish complexions and gives a subtle bronzish tint which really complements the wheatish skintone.

Cream blushes, cheek stains an mousse blushes can be tricky..if u don't blend well u're left with a streaky stain on u're cheek. Cream/mousse blush is good for people with good skin..if u have enlarged pores and acne..stay away as it'll hightlight them.

CB, u dab it on the apples of u're cheeks and blend upwards and outwards..

thanks Gina … :hugz:
