I’ve always used powder blushes…swore by them…had pretty good results because I would use it for contouring on special events when photography was going to be important.
Recently my skin has become quite dry in certain patches and I thought I would give creme blush a try so I went and picked up MAC’s Cremeblend in Tea Petal.
I’ve only used it once and applied it simply with the tips of my fingers…blended it in. I guess it will take a little getting used to but I’m not happy with the results.
Can someone please provide some guidance on how to apply and what tools are best?
Re: Blush -- What's Best and How to Apply it......
Use a fine exfoliant Muzna and a heavier moisturizer on the 'dry' patches. I'm not really a fan of cream blushes but I gently tap some on the apples of my cheeks and blend it using outward and upward strokes.

Gina.....yes, I've been using the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser and the Hydra Quench Cream Mask....which has been great and my skin has improved over the past month.
About the blush.....I'm tempted to use a brush......it's awkward using my fingers......

yes! u need to exfoliate the skin....afterwards make sure you apply a good moisturizer....let it sink it for 10 minutes....apply a foundation primer...let it sink in for 5 minutes...and then apply your foundation and then the creamblush....it should do the trick

For cream blushes, I use my MAC 187 stippling brush...Its perfect...or just use a simple blush brush but just brush it lightly across the blush and buff it into the skin where you would want the blush to go
