i have got my vision blur all of sudden 10 days back.. my eyesight is a bit weak bt i dont use glasses.. i went to the eye specialist n she said this has nothing to do with ete sight.. she checked the eyes n said both eyes n retina r fine… now i just want to ask if smone ever experienced it during pregnancy? though i had never experienced any such thing before in my other two pregnancies… im 6 months pregnant
on friday , i wuz just getting up from sajda, n banged my head so hard on the glass top of the table.. experienced a sharp pain that time but only for a minute n i wuz ok then.. now from yesterday, im feeling dizzy, nauseous, sometimes having pain in neck, n a little headache… i still have these feelings… just want to ask that is this something related to concussion? should i visit any doc or wait so the symptoms would disappear? any responses would b helpful as m too much worried
blurry vision can sometimes be due to elevated blood sugars. gestational diabetes is a very common problem. have you had your sugar levels checked? You should try to see your ob/gyn soon and discuss this. hopefully its nothing serious but no harm in checking with the doctor.
I am not a doctor, I really dont know. even in non-pregnant state, hitting your head over anything hard can cause sharp pain. and dizziness could be unrelated to hitting your head. maybe your BP is fluctuating or blood sugars? to be on the safe side, its best to see ob/gyn soon and explain your symptoms to them. don’t let anyone diagnose you on the internet, you must see a doctor.
i had blurry vision (not continues though,) and would see floaters all the time during my pregnancy. OB said it had nothing to do with my pregnancy and when i visited my eye doctor…they said everything was normal. My eye sight did drop during pregnancy and stayed that why (went form 3.75 to 4.5 in just one eye…the other was already at 4.75.) It hasnt change backed either.
^^^ rabia - I am super worried about my eyesight these days as I have been getting headaches around my eyes for hmm about 3 weeks constant. I am thinking it’s to do with my eyesight because ammi ko bhi yehi ho gia tha in her last pregnancy - she never wore glasses before my brother was born but during pregnancy her eyesight weakened and it never recovered. I’m so worried will make a trip to opticians I guess…
Yes, call your doctor and explain about the blurry vision, it could be a sign of high blood pressure, Allah na kary, even if you never had it before. High blood pressure in pregnancy can pose problems, so do not delay.
thanx ladies for ur responses… anyhow i went to my doc n she just has given some glucose test… my blood pressure is always on low side as m anaemic.. she said apparently she cant find any reason, just had given more supplements n asked me to add iron content in my diet.. hopefully it gets better by time
