If anyone (not just politician or so-called leaders but literally anyone) would go anywhere in Sindh, stand on high ground at any crowded place, remind people how Nawaz use to behave with BB, Zardari, his political opponents, and members of PPP while he was in power, you will get over 100,000 calling for ‘Phansi until death’ to Nawaz, Shahbaz and all his party members. If you will try the same in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkar, Nawabshah or any big cities of Sindh calling for what to do with Nawaz then you will get more than 500,000 (over 1000,000 in Karachi) asking for Phansi to Nawaz and all the goons of PML(N). If one would remind people of ‘Phani given to Bhutto’ and ‘forgiving of Phanis sentence for Nawaz’, millions all over Pakistan would call for Phanis of Nawaz as soon as possible.
Further, since Musharraf was not legal executive in 2000, his initiating squashing of court sentence that asked for ‘hanging to death’ for Nawaz should get over looked and according to the punishment given by Court, Nawaz should get hanged until death (Phansi). Actually, when Musharraf got pity on Nawaz and gave pardon to this ‘traitor and terrorist’ then most Pakistanis did not like that decision and questioned pardon of Nawaz. PPP voters (in last election, 10.6 million voted for PPP) and supporters considered that decision unfiar and unjust, demanding hanging (Phanis) for Nawaz, reminding Musharraf (and army) that Bhutto was given Phanis, why not Nawaz? Many considered (and even now people consider) that Nawaz was let off by Musharraf because he was from Punjab and Bhutto got phanis because he was from Sindh. BB always use to ask people that Sindhi Prime Minister was given Phansi, why not Punjabi Prime Minister?
I am 100 percent sure that if Musharraf was a Punjabi General than his giving Pardon to Nawaz would have brought revolution in Pakistan against Punjab and would have created unending hate of Punjab all over Pakistan. Even now, if we would have referendum in Pakistan that pardon of Nawaz should get squashed and court verdict against Nawaz and punishment of ‘death by hanging (Phanis) to Nawaz’ should get implemented or not than vast majority, majority of 10s of millions … literally 10s of millions, would vote ‘YES’ it should get implemented and Nawaz should get ‘hanged until death’.
In reality, ‘Nawaz pardon from getting hanged to death’ (just like hanging of Bhutto) is stain on history of Pakistan that would haunt unity of Pakistan forever and thus it should get corrected. If this correction is not done then people of other provinces would keep remembering that Nawaz got pardon because he was from Punjab and Bhutto got hanged because he was from Sindh. Thus, it should be our demand and slogan for sake of Judiciary and for value to the verdict given by Judiciary that Nawaz (traitor and terrorist) should get hanged until death. His hanging would be good for Justice, Peace, Unity, Prosperity, and Security of Pakistan.
We should remember that ‘Special terrorist court’ in Pakistan and law of ‘hanging to death’ for terrorist was brought by Nawaz. Due to this law, many got hanged in Pakistan once convicted. So, if they can get hanged then Nawaz who also got convicted of terrorism and was given death punishment by hanging, why he should get pardon?
