Hi Guys ..

Has anyone ever played the card game called Bluff?

I played it long time ago and have forgoten some of the rules .. wondering if you guys can tell me how its played .. the rules and all ..:hmmm:

divide teh cards ..as many players as possible.......
everyone has their cards......
someone starts a move....... puttin cards upside down.......and saying the number of cards they are throwing.... what they are A,2s,Ks etc.........
subsequent people on their turn have option to

  1. throw same cards (as claimed by 1st player..i.e As,2s etc etc)

or

  1. turn the cards and calling out the bluff ..if the person had lied...they take all the cards..if they are true the person who calls out has to take all the cards

3.pass

hmmm thanks Nomi … my confusion is that when one is throwing the cards , what concept are you following , like do the cards have to be similar sign or number … Supposeing I got two Ace’s .. three kings and one queen … What should my focus be ? should I be trying to get rid of that one Queen along with the Aces and claim it to be four aces … ? i.e if I can manage to escape being caught :cb:

its the numbers…As,2s,Ks,Js etc etc…

objective is to lose all your cards…i.e lie and get rid of them by throwing etc…

you can throw any number of cards…just don’t throw more than 4 :hehe:

or claim to be throwing 4 when u have lest than 4…because anyone else who has even one card…would know you lied…and will pick it up..

I haven’t played this in for such a long time! Oh the memories…
We call the game BS or in order words Bull----

I’m sure there are many variations but usually you are throwing the same numbers/letters not signs. And you have the right concept, you want to try to get rid of as many cards at once.

Let’s use your example, if you throw down 4 cards and say they are 4 Aces when in fact one or more is otherwise…anyone who has the other Aces will know you are bluffing…you just have to make sure it is not the person whose turn is next. Usually if you throw down any sets of ‘4’ people are going to call bluff…unless of course you have loads of cards
